Vineland Research and Innovation Centre is an independent, not-for-profit corporation founded in 2007. It coordinates applied research, innovation, and commercialization activities across Ontario's horticulture value chain, aiming to drive growth and impact in the sector. The organization is based in Canada's Niagara Region and operates with a national scope.
The centre's work spans a range of technical domains, including pathology, soil science, sensory analysis, and food technology. It provides end-to-end services in product development, validation and testing, commercialization, and intellectual property management. Vineland also offers training and consultancy services.
As a not-for-profit entity, Vineland Research and Innovation Centre collaborates with partners from government, the private sector, and research institutions. Its mission is to advance horticulture science and innovation through applied research and the commercialization of new technologies and products.
